Steven Gerrard couldn’t tear a paper bag apart from inside lol! – Liverpool had there chance this season with a weakened United side! – with over £100,000,0000 to spend united will be even stronger next season !!!

Get in the queue behind Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City – when you get knocked off your perch, it takes a good few years to recover and maintain a consistant winning team -I see at least three titles for any of the above teams before Liverpool attain that status again.

‘with over £100,000,0000 to spend united will be even stronger next season’
Is that on interest payments alone?

Gerrard is more likely to tear his hamstring or his hair out before leading his beloved Liverpool to the title, even Michael Owen had to leave Liverpool to achieve a title triumphs.

Man Hoof never knocked Liverpool off their perch, Liverpool fell off after Dalglish’s breakdown in 1991, around about the same time Man Hoof ‘fans’ were spitting at Alex Ferguson at home matches, if Dalglish had never left then Liverpool would be pushing 30 titles now and the Trafford Hoofers would be lucky to be in double figures, with Slur Alex long sacked and in a care home, but nevermind, Kenny’s back now and will win the Title with Liverpool next season, Kenny and the real Reds know Man Hoof’s little secret…theyre not really that good….and proved it by the thrashing they handed the Hoof 5 weeks ago.

Former Liverpool star John Barnes believes Manchester United are still behind his club when it comes to bragging rights with regard to major titles, despite the Red Devils set to go past Liverpool in the Premier League stakes.
Speaking exclusively to XPRESS during his visit to the UAE in his role as AD Sports pundit, Barnes said: “I wouldn’t say Liverpool have been knocked off their perch. When you win five European Cups you aren’t knocked off the perch too easily even if Manchester United do go past you on league titles. They may have 19 titles to Liverpool’s 18 now but the European Cup is the Holy Grail of football and Liverpool are still ahead on that front, so I’m staying with Liverpool.”
Barnes went a step farther by stating that Manchester United, currently, weren’t even the best club in England.
“I think Man United are a fantastic football club, but they aren’t the best team in the league at the moment. I believe they have been handed the title by Arsenal and Chelsea. Manchester United won because of the respect the players and fans have for Sir Alex Ferguson and the fact that no other club except Liverpool have that right now,” he said.

Anyone get the idea this brain dead like’s the “hoof” thing he’s come with? Most of the comments prior to this fool were spot on – how fucking arrogant are they to even dream of winning the title next season! Pathetic yesterday men. Last time you were anything close to a really top side pal was when half your team were sporting taches. Get a grip.

Ste, are you prepared to come back and eat humble pie a year from now when your title prediction has long since unravelled? You know, like in each of the previous 20 years?
In the meantime, thanks for your entertaining post. Enjoy watching Michael Owen pick up his medal!

Please get over talkin about the Champion’s league, LFC aren’t even in it, truly great teams around europe no matter how poor they are doing still manage to make the cut, therefore LFC ain’t one of them. Its common for the weaker teams to raise their game playing a top team which prob explains LFC’s performance against the superior united. and as for the “not the best team in england” statement, who is liverpool??? LMFAO, Chelsea aren’t as, the last 3 meetings state loud and clear. Stevie was obviously delirious with rage at united’s continued success causing him to make these ridiculous statements.
Lets all face it and be serious for a second, Liverpool’s success is all in the past!! At the moment and prob for the next while, a good season for LFC will be keeping Everton, Sunderland, Fulham and Stoke out of the final “Runners up europa league” spot.
Sad but true that LFC aren’t the Top club in England any more, Not even one of the top 4….(or 5), its time to accept it…

100,000,000 million! Doubt well have that but everyone keeps saying how much debt were in, we’ve been in debt for 7 years now and weve achieved 4 league titles and 2 ( maybe 3 ) champs leagues! Not to mention the other cups we won! and we still manage to do that, I’ll gladly stay in debt if things carry on, well soon be out of debt and be able to spend! What you going to say then???

I appreciate all peoples comment but for me, Manchester united have just won there 19th league title and have been in three of the last four champions league finals. I appreciate what “king kenny” has done but with the squads of Chelsea Arsenal n man city I think it will be very tough for gerrard and his lot to win the league at all in the next 5 yrs!! With a utd squad at present with an average age ov 26 we will see what happens in the near future!! Oh and an other thing… Chicharito and Smalling buys of the year by a long streach!!!
