A Letter To Cesc Fabregas….

By on July 31, 2011

Dear Cesc,

You have done a lot for this club. And when I say that I actually mean it. You are captain of one of the greatest teams in the world. A team who play fantastic football, and try to show the world what the game stands for. When the manager handed you the armband after Gallas’ shocking behaviour I knew it was a massive responsibility on your part. You were young and had to carry the burden of an entire team on your shoulders. And my God, didn’t you do that well.

From last season there has been continued interest from your boy-hood club FC Barcelona. The Spanish press go on dubbing you as Barca DNA, and that you should be rightfully returned to Catalunia. Now I am in no position to tell you what to do.

But we as Gooners have lives, and it hurts us to see our club in turmoil. If you have to leave please make sure you do so as soon as possible. All this time you are trying to play it safe and avoiding the situation. But we are not stupid, and we all know that you WANT to leave Arsenal. Moreover, we also know why you want to leave Arsenal. It’s simply because we are not winning trophies and that you want to play alongside some of the best footballers in the world, if not the best.

You have done a lot for us, and you want to leave respectfully. We all know it and we all are aware of it. So do it respectfully. Do it like how henry did it. Don’t sit in your house and let your pals Pique and Xavi talk on your behalf.

Be man enough to tell us that “yes I want to leave. I cannot concentrate properly on my game, and I wish to play for my childhood club”. Say what you have to say. Say that you love Arsenal, and that you want to leave because you want to play for Barcelona. It’s not that I love Arsenal less, but I love Barcelona more. That is your situation. We all know it, so just man up and say it….

Regards,

In fact Fabregas only has to hand-in a written transfer request, and all will unfold. It really is as simple as that!

All this nonsense about having respect for the club, if he had any he would make a statement of intent, simples.

I think finally Fabregas has come to the conclusion that no matter what comes out of Barca the situation is he will actually only be warming the bench & unless there’s an injury to one of the midfielders in front of him that’s where he will remain. But if Barca don’t stump up the money in the next few days then from my understanding is the deal is off & Fabregas will remain an Arsenal player.

Arsenal know they have to sell him, Cesc knows this and so do Barca, Arsene wants £40 mil and Barca wanna pay £28 ish.

Arsenal are dam right to wait for Barca to up there bid, Cesc is under contract and there is nothing he can do about it.

Even if he hands a transfer request Arsenal can still accept and reject bids as they like, the way Barca behave towards Arsenal I am glad this is happening and if Cesc has to stay with us another season its not the end of the world for him, getting payed £100k a week to do what you love is no punishment.

I completly understand why he wants to go to Barca, who whouldnt wanna play with Messi and co, but he signed a long term deal so this is all hes own doing.

Barcelona need to put up or shut up!!

I agree cesc has a contract running. barca has no right telling gunners to accept the megre price they are quoting. we built cesc 4 them we made him worth 40 million pounds So dear barca pay up or pack out. Cesc you have no say.
