Arsenal Transfer News: Wenger Pondering £25m Raid For Samba Duo

By on August 26, 2011

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is pondering a double raid on Shakhtar Donetsk to boost his depleted midfield.

Having secure a place in the Champions League group phase last night, Wenger is now set to launch a late market spending spree. The Daily Mail says Shakhtar Donetsk pair Jadson and Willian are the latest targets to be linked with a move to North London.

The Brazilian duo have both expressed a desire to play in the Premiership recently and would command combined transfer fees in the region of £25m. Both are offensive midfielders but Willian tends to operate on the right side of midfielder whilst Jadson pulls the strings from the central position.

      Its all too late !!!!!!
We needed players in a month ago to hit the ground running – i will be amazed if we sign anyone else- i fear for Arsenal for the 1st time since the early 80’s before G.G. became Manager! By Sunday we will be 9 points behind UTD – we have half a world class striker and thats it – When he brought Bedneter on against Liverpool you new nothing is going to change – ground hog day again!!!! Where has the Arsenal of 6yrs ago gone – this Manager let – Henry, Gilberto, Pires,Cambell, Edu, petit, van bronkhurst, Laymen, viera all walk out of our club so he could feed his ego by building his own team of world beaters from kids – wake up or go Wenger you have failed!

Why, why why do people want to buy Samba? He is absoloutly crap! He’s slow and clumsy. We play a high line and he would be an absoloute liabilty. Stop with the Samba talk PLEASE he’s rubbish! We ought to be talling about defenders like Hummels, Subotic, Kjaer etc NOT Samba!

You call yourselves arsenal fans? In Arsene we trust you illiterate idiots, the professor has a plan and don’t you doubt it.

Wat plans has he got to execute in less than 5 days; the type that sees him pricing Cahill for 6 million? Common! They (Arsene and d board) are just playing with our emotions. Meanwhile, mind ur words, pls!

If you were a true gooner you would have paid close attention to arsene’s press conference today : where he stated that the 6million fee that bolton declared had supposedly been put forth by arsenal was wrong, he said that it was a lower amount than what had been discussed. And so much can be achieved in 5 days, how many deals are done in those final hours of transfer windows? A fair few. The signings will come, just because it’s not publicised does not mean it isn’t happening. And as for your emotional vulnerability, I am sure that you are right. It is quite obviously the season-long objective of the board to antagonise the arsenal faithful. Don’t be ridiculous! Arsene Wenger (and the board) know what they’re doing, so why don’t you stop bad-mouthing the club and be a proper supporter. *IN ARSENE WE TRUST*

Well said Jamie, I hate these so called fans that are on the “hate wenger” bandwagon when they do not have a clue what they are talking about!

Let the manager do his job, I am sure he has a few rabbits to pull out of the hat and ensure we remain a force to be reckoned with.

In Arsene I Trust….Gooner till the death!!

U need not hate anyone, my friend. Letz face fact here: We are facing Man Utd on Sunday, and has it occurred 2 u that we don’t have a defensive midfielder in dat team? Song and Frimpong are both suspended, who is going to play d dirty role for us on Sunday? If we survived by 3-0 then we should count ourselves lucky. He (wenger) knew all along where the problem lies, but all he does is…pinching penies!
LET THE TRUTH BE TOLD, PLS!

I hate because I have good reason to, to support a club means to stick by them through thick and thin, the good times and the bad times. No doubt we are going through some tough times and no doubt that both arsene and the board are fully aware of this and are doing everything they can to rectify the situation.

Wenger will spend the right amount on quality players and not pay over the odds like city or chelsea (who are forced to as they are rich)

To spend 18 million on someone in the last year of their contract and who in my opinion is not worth more than 15 mill is ridiculous especially when a talent such as Hazard would cost us 26mill and is definitely worth that.

Now Let the the board and Arsene do their job as they are more qualified than us fans in doing so and let us do our jobs and get behind the team and manager no matter what!

        Arsenal Till I Die!!

Ok, for the last 6 years what have we won? How many players have we turned over buying and selling? How many players in the last 6 years have left b4 their peak? And what exactly are we trusting Arsene with? R we trusting him to make the club bundles of money and make profit? If so that’s great. R we trusting him to produce world class players and sell them on for quadruple the fee? Again this is good for business. R we trusting Arsene to make us the richest club in the world? Only Arsene knows right? As a fan, a true fan, u want to c your club do well, but u need a balance. Surely there is money to spend? If not we the fans deserve to know the truth, especially if u pay £950 for a season ticket to watch us slug it out for 4th place. Do we trust Arsene to end the trophy drought this season for the first time in 6 years? I’m not so sure? Last season was all too familiar. Great if we win something, bit if another 6 years go by with no trophy what r we trusting Arsene with exactly? Great producer of talent, great money maker, comical sideline antics, nice guy. Hard worker. Trophies? I sure hope so.
