Lampard was reinstated in Chelsea’s draw with Valencia on Tuesday and acknowledges how fortunate he has been to play for the Blues for over a decade and claims he never made it clear he was unhappy with things. He said:
“Storm off? I won’t do that. I am very fortunate that I have had 10 years at Chelsea where I have been part of a fantastic group and we have been successful. I love the club, I love the fans.
“I feel great support from them for every moment, so the last thing I’d do when the team has played well is sulk or be happy to pick up my wages when I haven’t been playing.”
Andre Villas-Boas appears to be rotating the 33-year old in a bid to keep the veteran midfield fresh.
