Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul got himself booked during Tottenham’s controversial 2-1 defeat to Stoke by suggesting that referee Chris Foy and/or his assistant needed glasses. Kaboul fumed after neither official spotted a blatant hand ball by Ryan Shawcross on the line, or the fact Emmanuel Adebayor was 2 yards onside when they ruled out his equalising goal. Kaboul was later sent off for a second yellow. Here’s a picture of the defender making his feeling’s perfectly clear:

      Abe..totally agree….
It would not happen if a Man Utd player threw a tantrum…how many times have we seen Ferdinand lose his cool with the ref and get away with it?
I could understand if Kaboul had sworn or thrown a rude gesture at the ref….but please! For goodness sake emotions spill over in sports…e.g tennis ….the player gets annoyed with the umpire when a bad call is made…..does the ref stop the match or book the player?
The FA needs to crack down on officating as in some cases, there is poor judgement and they get away with it and there needs to be accountability when they fall short of doing their jobs in the correct manner.
