Arsenal Transfer News: Edin Visca Responds To Gunners Rumours
Bosnian youngster Edin Visca has been reported as an Arsenal target this January, with the 21-year-old winger believed to be of interest to Arsene Wenger.
With 20 days left in the January transfer window, the Arsenal rumour mill is in over-drive. It’s clear that the Gunners faithful want investment but would fans be happy with one of the latest names to be linked with the club?
Bosnian youngster Edin Visca has been touted as a target this month, with the 21-year-old winger believed to be of interest to Arsene Wenger.
Visca currently plays for Istanbul BB and has responded to the Arsenal rumours recently in an interview with KiP, saying he’s proud to be linked with a club like Arsenal but he goes on to say he’s happy at Istanbul BB:
“I am very proud that such a big club is interested in me. Who wouldn’t be happy about that?
“But the truth is, right now I am an Istanbul BB player and that means I cannot think too much about the Gunners.
“Until something concrete happens, I will only think about Istanbul BB as I want to play in Turkey and be as good as I can.
“But, yes, I am happy and proud that such a big club wants me.”
Obviously it’s always nice to hear a player is keen to join us and is proud to be linked with a club like Arsenal. It makes a change from hearing our own players saying those types of things about clubs like Barcelona!
But I have to admit I’ve never heard of this fella before and he’s not the type of signing i’m looking for. I think we’ve got enough young, tricky wingers at the club. We need someone to come in and hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. But as the saying goes; ‘Arsene Knows’!
