Lukas Podolski Passes Medical Ahead Of £10.9m Arsenal Move – Report
There has been yet another sign today that Lukas Podolski is heading to Arsenal this summer, after reports the striker successfully passed a medical yesterday.
Morning Gooners. There has been yet another sign today that Lukas Podolski is heading to Arsenal this summer, after the Daily Star revealed that the striker successfully passed a medical yesterday.
The report claims that the 26-year-old underwent a medical examination on Tuesday, with Gunners officials in close proximity having travelled to Germany to finalise a £10.9m deal.
The Star also claim we are set to break our transfer record this summer by launching a £30m bid to sign Dorussia Dortmund’s Mario Gotze, but i’m not convinced by that if i’m honest. I’d love to see Gotze at Arsenal, don’t get me wrong, but i just can’t see us paying that kind of money.
What does look promising, is the signing of Podolski. Each day we are hearing a new development and the signs are looking good that he’ll be an Arsenal player in the summer.
But we’ve been here before, Juan Mata was all set to be a Gooner last summer before signing for Chelsea, so let’s remain calm until it’s officially announced.

Not saying he will leave but the german league is no BPL. Dortmund won the league last year and still their best player (sahin) left.

podolski plays on the left for germany where he has scored 40+ goals so i can see him playing on the left instead of gervinho with RVP up front.

so if we spend £30m on Hazzard £30m on gotez and £11m on Podolski our weak at defending team will be so much better hahah, yes arsenal go out and spend £71million on unproven (PL wise) talent that havnt got a defencive bone in their body.
looks like we have podolski which is a good signing, we dont need gotez as we have 6CM already and Hazzard would be nice but he is £30mil and has Man U, Real and Chelsea after him

I dont really see the need for us to pay such huge amonut of money on a player like hazard who is yet to prove his worth at the top.We have chamberlain who can play on the wing and also behind the strikers.I think bringing in someone like Gotze would be better.The German league is far more competitive than the french league.

I think Arsene should try everything possible to get Vertoghen.He can play at the left full back,central defence and even defensive midfield position.He is three in one.Getting a reliable backup goalkeeper is not a bad idea.UP GOONER

this is the first time Wenger is buying a fans’ choice player.He normally buys unknown players who sometimes dont excell. this time, he will not be blamed if podolski proves to be another chamak. And why is podolski going for a medical now? anything can happen between now and May. As for Mata, its good he didnt join us.he said with his own mouth that he wanted to join a ‘team’ that will win trophies. he will wait forever

Hello Macurly Adeshina, point of corretion for U Gevihno is not a flop at arsenal, most of d goals by RVP are passes from GVHO. Hv U ask why RVP goal scoring has reduced of late cos’s GVHO has not been playing much of late, he is a winner not a flop. Open ur eyes and stop lookin for only goals.
