An under-strength Liverpool under 18’s side lost 4-3 to West Bromwich Albion in a seven-goal thriller on Saturday morning. With five of their regular team away at the NextGen tournament, it was no surprise the youngsters were unsettled and found themselves 2-0 inside the opening 10 minutes.
However, Liverpool stormed back to take a 3-2 lead thanks to goals from Mukendi (2) and a stunner from Lussey, but the Baggies eventually levelled and hit a late winner to secure a 4-3 victory. Watch highlights from the game here:
