Spurs Confirm Club Have Already Received Bids For Midfielder
Tottenham Hotspur chief executive Darren Eales has revealed the club have received offers for midfielder Sandro, but AC Milan are not one of the clubs interested
Tottenham chief executive Darren Eales has revealed the club have received offers for midfielder Sandro, according to Sky Sports News.
Sandro arrived at White Hart Lane in 2010 with high expectations of becoming a key part of the team and after a positive start to his career in London, the Brazilian signed a new long-term contract last summer.
However, the arrival of Scott Parker has seen his progress stall and the 23-year-old has made only 12 Premier League starts this season.
Sky Sports claim that this lack of action has lead to rumours he could be on the move this summer, with Italian giants AC Milan thought to be among the clubs chasing the midfield enforcer.
However, Spurs chief Eales is quoted as saying that while the Londoners have received bids for Sandro, AC Milan are not one of those interested parties.
“I have read the rumours, but Sandro will not be going to AC Milan,” he told tuttomercatoweb.com.
“We have not had any contact with them, so these reports are without foundation.
“We have had other offers for him, but not from Italy and not from AC Milan.”
