Liverpool are on the south coast to take on Southampton at St Marys looking to maintain their late push for a top-four finish.

The Reds made it three wins on the bounce with their 3-2 victory over third-placed Tottenham last Sunday and that win moved Brendan Rodgers side up to sixth and within striking distance of the top-four.

Goalkeeper Pepe Reina has failed to prove his fitness for the game meaning Brad Jones continues to deputise between the sticks. Joe Allen comes in to the midfield while there is also a recall for Martin Skrtel at the back.
