It’s being reported today that Arsenal are planning further property redevelopments in and around the Queensland Road area near the Emirates, that should generate millions of pounds which would be available to invest in players.
Great news eh? Well as good as this sounds, the section of the report in the Telegraph that really caught my eye was the last paragraph that read:
Arsenal are also planning further improvements to the Emirates Stadium and the club’s London Colney training ground, where extras pitches are to be laid as well as a new medical and rehabilitation wing.
Note the bold writing….this is the important part and it’s the best idea Arsenal have had in years. Perhaps the new medical centre and rehabilitation wing will help reduce the injury list and get our players back on the field quicker. Arsenal would be a much better side if their players would stay fit and if a rehabilitation wing will help out, i can’t wait for it to be built.
Plus, we all know Arsene wouldn’t spend the extra funds from the property business anyway! So lets look forward to the redevelopments, and a new rehabilitation centre.
