Tottenham Hotspur got off to a winning start to their Europa League campaign with a comfortable 3-0 win over Tromso on Thursday night at White Hart Lane.
Jermain Defoe helped himself to a classy brace before summer signing Christian Eriksen came off the bench to seal the win with a stunning long-range effort. It was the Danes first goal for the club since making the move from Ajax last month and it secured Tottenham’s first three points in Group K.
