Chelsea Confirm Signing Of Young Attacker
Chelsea FC have confirmed the signing of young attacker Bertrand Traore on a four-and-a-half-year contract from Association Jeunes Espoirs De Bobo-Dioulasso.
Although the summer transfer window is officially closed that doesn’t stop clubs working hard behind the scenes to prepare for future signings, so we’ll keep you up-to-date with all the latest gossip. Today, Chelsea announce the signing of Bertrand Traore.
Chelsea have confirmed the signing of young attacker Bertrand Traore on a long-term contract.
The 18-year-old has been on the Blues radar for some time and was taken as a trialist on the clubs pre-season tour of Asia in the summer. He impressed hugely, playing in all three games and scored a stunning goal in an 8-1 win over an Indonesia All Star team.
However, the West Londoners were unable to sign Traore on a permanent deal until his 18th birthday last month and after agreeing a four-and-a-half-year deal with the youngster, the paperwork has just been completed and the club have announced his signing on their official website.
A statement on Chelseafc.com read:
