Transfer News: Chelsea Braced For Playmaker Bid | Liverpool Working On £9m Deal

Today, PSG are reportedly lining-up a big for Eden Hazard while Liverpool are working on a £9m winger deal.

PSG eye Hazard

First up and the Daily Star are reporting that Chelsea are bracing themselves for a big-money bid from Paris Saint Germain for playmaker Eden Hazard.

Hazard joined the Blues for £32m from Lille in 2012 and after a steady first season at Stamford Bridge, the 22-year-old has really started to find his best form this campaign.

His impressive display’s haven’t gone unnoticed across the channel with the Star claiming that mega-rich PSG are readying an audacious bid to try and lure the Belgian attacker to Ligue 1 at the end of the season.

The report suggests that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is determined to land Hazard and will not only table a huge offer to try and persuade Chelsea to part company with him, but also offer Hazard a bumper pay deal to make the switch to France.

However, it’s highly unlikely the west Londoners will entertain any interest in the player and the newspaper states that Jose Mourinho is keen to reward Hazard with a new long-term deal to tie his future to the club.

Liverpool working on £9m Salah deal

Next up and the Metro are reporting that Liverpool are working hard to secure a £9m deal for Mohamed Salah after several European clubs entered the race for his signature.

Salah has earned rave reviews after some eye-catching display’s for Basel in the Champions League which have lead to speculation he could be set for a big-money move.

The Metro claim that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has been closely monitoring the 21-year-old’s situation but was prepared to hold out until the summer before making his move.

However, the newspaper suggests that following interest from the likes of AC Milan, Napoli and Atletico Madrid, the Reds have now been forced to bring forward their plans and are now working hard on securing a £9m deal this month.

The report states that Salah’s preferred destination is Anfield and with Rodgers desperate to sign the highly-rated winger, it appears only a matter of time before he become’s a Liverpool player.
