Videos + Photos: Liverpool’s New 2014/15 Home Kit Officially Revealed

Liverpool and manufacturers Warrior officially revealed the new LFC home kit to be worn during the 2014/15 season this evening.

We brought you the ‘leaked’ images on Wednesday and it seems they were spot on as the kit was revealed in front of a large crowd of supporters at Anfield.

The home jersey is the traditional red with white detailing on the body, while the shorts and socks are also matching red with a hint of white detailing. It’s a very understated kit in many ways, but is apparently inspired by the clubs successful era in the 1960’s.

Several Liverpool players attended the big reveal and it was Kolo Toure, Jordan Henderson, Philippe Coutinho and Simon Mignolet who were chosen to walk out of the big red storage container to model the kit in front of the crowd and awaiting press.

The kit will officially go on sale on May 9th but you will be able to pre-order in advance. I’m sure all Liverpool fans will be praying Steven Gerrard will be walking his team out on the opening day of next season wearing this kit as the newly crowned Premier League champions!
