By on August 30, 2015

Manchester United let-slip a one goal lead to lose 2-1 to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon.

United looked to be on their way to a third win in four games after Juan Mata ghosted in at the far post to slam home Luke Shaw’s deep cross to give the visitors the lead shortly after half time.

However, Swansea levelled things up in the 61st minute when Andre Ayew headed home Gylfi Sigurdsson’s cross before the Ghana international then set-up Bafetemi Gomis with a superb pass to allow the striker slot home for 2-1 in the 65th minute.

United couldn’t find a way back into the game so they lost their first match of the season while Swansea climb to fourth in the Premier League table and remain unbeaten so far this campaign.
