[Video Goals] Man Utd 1-1 Liverpool: Ibrahimovic Salvages Point For United

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored late on to salvage Manchester United a 1-1 draw against fierce rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford this afternoon.

The visitors started brightly and were offered the perfect chance to open the scoring midway through the first half when Paul Pogba handled in the penalty area. James Milner stepped up to score his six spot kick of the season to give Liverpool a 1-0 lead in the 27th minute.

Jose Mourinho responded by introducing Wayne Rooney at half time but it was the introduction of Marouane Fellaini in the 76th minute that was the real game-changer as the Belgian international caused Liverpool plenty of problems.

The midfielder played a key role in the equaliser as his flicked headed came back off the post before Antonio Valencia picked out Ibrahimovic to head home to make it 1-1 in the 84th minute.

Neither side could find a winner so it ended 1-1 which leaves United sixth in the Premier League table while Liverpool climb to third and are now seven points adrift of leaders Chelsea.
