Premier League leaders Chelsea eased in to the quarter finals of the FA Cup thanks to a 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux this evening.

The hosts made life difficult for the run-away leaders during the opening forty-five minutes and the Championship side would have been delighted to go in to the break level at 0-0.

However, Chelsea’s class shone through in the second period and they eventually opened the scoring in the 65th minute as Pedro was on hand to head home following a lovely move involving Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Willian.

Wolves pushed for an equaliser but Chelsea put the result beyond doubt late on when Diego Costa pounced on a loose ball in the box to find the bottom corner in the 89th minute for 0-2.

The win means Chelsea book their place in the quarter finals with the Blues set to find out who they’ll play in the last eight when the draw takes place on Sunday evening.
