Conte To Make 2 Changes: Predicted Chelsea XI To Face Stoke

Chelsea will look to take another huge step towards reclaiming the title when they take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Here is the team we think Antonio Conte will pick for the game:

Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois put in another excellent display during the 1-0 FA Cup win over Manchester United so I see no reason why Conte would want to swap his goalkeepers this weekend.

Defence: The Italian is unlikely to make any changes in defence either as David Luiz is expected to start despite nursing an on-going knee injury which has hampered him in recent months.

The likes of Kurt Zouma and John Terry are pushing for game-time but I still expect to see Cesar Azpilicueta and Gary Cahill keep their places in the back three.

Midfield: Victor Moses is a minor doubt for the game after picking up a calf problem during the win over United but he’s likely to pass a late fitness test to start on the right while Marcos Alonso should keep his place on the left.

Conte decided to start Nemanja Matic against United but we could see Cesc Fabregas come back in to the side this weekend while N’Golo Kante should once again marshal the midfield after putting in a sensational performance last time out.

Attack: We could see Conte freshen things up in attack with Pedro getting a recall after being dropped to the bench for the FA Cup quarter final clash on Monday.

The Spanish international’s return would see Willian drop back to the bench as Eden Hazard is almost certain to keep his place in attack while Diego Costa should once again lead the line up front.

Here is how we think Chelsea will line-up:
