where arsene find this insanely impressive kid? no j-league experience, only having played for a high school team before becoming a professional player, and now becomes fans favourite at his loan club… im totally speechless… only arsene knows…

Wenger has that special ability to look into the future and see what a potentially talented player could become with proper training. His eye for raw talent is as good as SAF’s and with the formidable Arsenal youth development and academy, he can be sure they’ll get the right discipline and technical skills to play professionally for Arsenal.

the spend spend spend brigade needs to keep quiet this time.
we have 17 players out on loan and can have a massive clear out this summer without spending money on new players.
like almunia out mannone in, diaby and denilson out, ramsey, frimpong and coquelin in, squillaci out, kyle bartley in, eboue out( i really doubt it) although a central defender, daniel boatang can join first team as sagna deputy while he’s developing.

Yes… sell diaby to Barcelona or Madrid.. since that guy is CRAP!!!!!! Rubbish!!!
    Sell Denilson as well…

Both of them causes us games…

We have no short of defensive midfielders next season… Frimpong is going to be the next big thing.. Coquelin has been earning rave reviews now during his loan at Lorient.. and Eastmond, someone whom had already played in that role for us last season.

As an Arsenal fan, you all need to tone it down, this kid is very very raw. Aside from a minute or 2 of brilliance, i could point out 1000 things wrong with his game yesterday. such as; his work rate, his consistency, he still plays with fear, he is clearly a cut above everyone on the field in terms of raw ability, yet he doesn’t know when to turn it on, or off, when to get into position, the way he reads the game is way off as well.
he is also not being used well by Feyenoord. the kid has no technical ability yet, at 18 they should be teaching him to play for the team instead of making him a folk hero after 2 games. I promise you Arsene wont loan him to Feyenoord again beyond the summer. The best player for Feyenoord yesterday was there left back, his support and coverage the only reason Ryo looked as impressive as he did for 70 mins on the left.

The kid needs to be taught how to play football. If Arsenal doesn’t get him in soon, I’m afraid they may miss a key developmental window before he turns 20. If they can’t get him in, look for him to go to Spain, possibly Celta Vigo, a club with the resources to help get the best out of him. Feyenoord is broke and currently rebuilding, they aren’t in a position to properly help him, as their team performance yesterday would not have won them that game, even against a league 2 team in England.

post 8 aka Random, be quiet!

He’s been at Feyenoord now for what, just two games and yet you already expect to see a different player? Jesus christ man, not even Wenger could improve a player dramatically in that period of time.

The most important thing about his move to Feyenoord is to get used to the European environment, play regular first team football and develop his game over the course of the rest of the season. Ryo in 6 months from now will be a much better, more mature and improved player both physically and technically than what he is now. Just have some patience and he’ll be back with Arsenal in the summer, ready to fight for a place in the team.

I think post 8 is a very good post to be honest. it’s one persons perspective put in a very good detailed way. Unlike some other posts I’ve seen in the past.

On the actual article, this guy looks promising. I do agree that we need him with us asap, even playing in the reserve games will sort him out. He’s like setting cement, needs to be moulded quickly before he becomes to set in his ways.
