Arsenal Star Set For £30m Summer Switch

By on May 16, 2011

PFA nominee Samir Nasri is a £30million target for German giants Bayern Munich. The NOTW reports that Bayern are plotting a £30m raid on the French winger, who has been identified as a replacement for the controversial Franck Ribery.

Ribery has had a difficult season of the field and has been tipped to find a new club in the summer. With only a year left on his contract and discussions on hold, Bayern are set to take full advantage of Nasri’s stumbling contract discussions and are preparing a bid for the French international.

Discussions are yet to take place and a German source said “Bayern are thinking big, as their interest in a number of English-based players has shown.”

Wenger is desperate to hold onto the 23-year old; with a summer of rebuilding planned, Arsenal cannot afford to lose the midfielder.

Idiotic article, how do you get such a far fetched ridiculous headline from a NOTW made up rumour. You are as bad as the original writer for propogating such rubbish. How about giving us something FACTUAL for a change or is that beyond your capabilities.

nasri will not be going but take note of ribery not happy in germany. IF arsenal were to make an offer for him i think it would give the fans a big lift. Ribery is quality and would be a big step up from that russian shit we carry around with us.
Ribery has experience at the top level of all competitions. world cups with france, champions League with bayern. Arsene tried for him before and he might just try again

Doubt the story. However I do think Nasri is a bit of a ****ing Mercenery and is part of the problem we have, and think we should get rid. We dont need another will he wont he saga. Wenger desperatly needs players who want to play for arsenal and not just see us a stepping stone to ‘bigger clubs’.The whole thing is getting boring now. Losing stupid games, Players wanting to leave, Stubborn Manager blinded by his own obsessions, New owners in it for the money.
Anyone want to buy a season ticket for next season???
For a while now I have argued with and slagged off the few arsenal supporters who seemed intent on ruining the atmosphere at home games with there constant booing spouting the same old reteric In wenger we rust. I gave the same old excuses as the manager ‘give it time’ ‘its a young squad gaining experiance’ ‘next year will be different’. How did I ever get sucked in? I now relise that I support a club that has no desire, no heart, is full of merceneries, lies to its fans, Charges the most for season tickets WHILE at the same time telling us we should be greatfull for being in the top 4 what utter b******s. How many former players have spoken out about the demise of our once great club. almost with gloating undertones. Civil war has broken out within the supporters Those who are Pro and those who are anti Wenger. and to be honest it has got so bad now that for the first time in my life i actually feel ashamed and embarresed to be a gooner.
Not so sure I have felt so low in years. Shame on you Arsenal….
