Arsenal’s Very Own ‘Ronaldinho’ Pleased With Progress

Asian starlet Ryo Miyaichi has revealed he is learning every day in training and believes he will improve as a player the more time he remains at Arsenal.

The Japanese youth international has had a whirlwind start to his professional career as just two years ago the 18-year old was in high school football and now he finds himself with football’s elite at Arsenal.

“If I was to say ‘everything’ has changed I think that would be right,” he told the Official Arsenal Matchday Programme. “I have been learning technique, tactics and physicality, and there have been a lot of new things over the past few months.

“I believe in Arsenal and know that I will get better as my time here continues.”

Miyaichi set the Erdivisie alight last season when he spent a season on loan to Feyenoord and earned the nickname “Ryodinho” from the media in Holland, in honour of Brazilian legend Ronaldinho.
