Hazard Latest – £35m Ace Admits “I Want To Go Abroad”

By on November 1, 2011

Lille star Eden Hazard is set to start a summer transfer scramble after admitting he is ready to leave France at the end of the season.

Hazard has been linked with a whole host of clubs in the past 12 months including Premier League teams Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd and Tottenham, as well as European giants Real Madrid, PSG and Inter Milan.

The Gunners were thought to be closing in on a £20m deal for the exciting winger last summer, but a deal failed to materialise and the Belgian has seen his stock rise even further during the current campaign after scoring 4 goals so far this term.

Chelsea have also been touted at front-runners, while French side PSG were rumoured to be lining up a £35m bid in January. However, Hazard has ruled out a move to another French side, while admitting he is ready to take the next step in his career and make a move next summer:

“I feel ready to make it to the next level in a great club,” Hazard told L’Equipe.

“I stayed in Lille this season because there were still things I had to work on, things to prove. But now, I’m ready.”

“Paris is not for now. After France, I want to go abroad.”

Hazard would be a great buy, young, fast and skillful, he would be able to lock doors for mssrs Suarez, Carrol and Bellamy…. Shame we didn’t sign him instead of Henderson….

He is exactly what liverpool needs. We need Hazard no matter d price. All that matters is the gain. Get him, get Adam Johnson, get Tevez and Ever Banega in d midfield.
