The young Gunners put up a good fight but lacked the cutting edge up front, and a late Aguero effort settled the tie. Both sides battled hard to create chances, but in the end it was City’s superior firepower that made the difference, Dzeko and Aguero breaking from an Arsenal corner resulting in a neat finish from the Argentine striker.
