Manchester United youngster Will Keane suffered a ruptured knee ligament injury during England under-19’s 1-0 win over Switzerland. Watch the incident here.
England under-19’s qualified for the Euro’s in Estonia with a 1-0 win over Switzerland but the game was over shadowed by a serious injury to Manchester United youngster Will Keane.
The 18-year-old suffered ruptured knee ligaments after landing awkwardly when chasing a long ball during the second half. Keane now faces around 9 months on the sidelines and comes as a bitter blow to the forward, after United boss Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed he was due to be involved with the first-team squad next season.
