Mirallas Confirms Arsenal Talks

Belgian striker Kevin Mirallas has claimed Arsenal are in talks to sign him this summer, according to Sky Sports.

The former St Etienne ace has enjoyed two superb seasons with Olympiakos, scoring 34 goals in 52 games since making the move to Greece in 2010.

This impressive form has attracted interest from some of Europe’s top clubs, with Sky Sports reporting that both Arsenal and Liverpool have made enquiries over the 24-year-old, who is believed to have a buy-out clause of just €8.25million (£6.4million).

Mirallas has now revealed that the Gunners are in talks with his manager over a possible move to the Emirates this summer, and the striker has talked up the move claiming it would be a good opportunity for him and his family.

Asked by Sky Sports News if he had spoken to Arsenal, he replied:

“My manager (has). Me? No.”

He was then asked is a deal may happen, to which he replied:

“Yes, it’s good. Thomas plays very good at Arsenal and now a lot of Belgian players are in the Premier League,”

“(Moving to England) It’s good for me, it’s good for my family and it’s a good opportunity, but I don’t know…it’s possible.”

If Arsenal can get Kevin Mirallas they will definitly come first or second in the league. He is 24, reaching his peak, and a natural goal scorer. Podolski, Giroud and Mirallas would put fear into other clubs and there could have enough creativity to be the new ‘Invincibles’. Would like to say, Podolski looks single minded and possible captain material. Giroud looks mobile, intelligent and skillful. RVP should be allowed to leave or his low level dissatifaction will cause damage.

I don’t know much about him only what I’ve read in the papers, and as he knows Vermaelan I’m sure he’s Mirallas all about Arsenal and the players we have, and the purchase price is not beyond the realms of fantasy, so I say why not go for him. Especially as Song hasn’t ruled out going to Barca if they actually come in with a firm offer, plus we are also in for Nurin, so for once we will have a strong team going into the start of the season, apart from the crocks that are already injured during the friendly game against Cologne.

I believe some of these comments are coming from man u fans. Wenger don’t let RVP go. Even if he does not wants to play keep him on bench. Let us be coy to the core this time. Even if you are signing another person, sell chamack, Bentner. Song should not go anywhere. As for man u, just give us Rooney and have RVP.
