[Video] Gervinho Scores Fine Effort As Ivory Coast Beat Senegal 4-2

By on September 9, 2012

Arsenal attacker Gervinho was on target as Ivory Coast beat Senegal 4-2 on Saturday night in their African Cup of Nations qualifier.

The 25-year-old is a frustrating player to watch at times, as he seems to have all the talent in the world but too often fluffs his final ball or his attempt at goal while wearing the Arsenal shirt.

However, he was back in form for Ivory Coast scoring an impressive equaliser to make it 2-2 in the second half. Watch Gervinho’s goal here:

Interesting it was a run thru the middle, something of which there was plenty of vids of him doing when playing in france. Not playing on the flank ala Arsenal?

I’m wishing ADiaby a quick recovery. The rejected stone by the builder will surely become the cornerstone. This is your time to shine in Arsenal colour. Cheer up.
