Abramovich Attempts To Lure Mourinho To Chelsea With €400k ‘Gift’?

Jose-Mourinho

Roman Abramovich has fueled speculation that he’s trying to persuade Jose Mourinho to make a sensational return to Stamford Bridge this summer after buying him a €400,000 watch, according to the Express.

Mourinho enjoyed a hugely successful spell as Chelsea boss between 2004-2007 when he won two league titles as well as lifting three domestic trophies before leaving for Inter Milan after a reported rift with Abramovich.

The Express claim the Portuguese coach is set to leave his position at Real Madrid this summer and is believed to have already negotiated his exit with the La Liga giants hierarchy, with Mourinho heavily linked with a return to west London.

The speculation has now intensified with the newspaper reporting that Blues owner Abramovich has given the 50-year-old a new watch worth a staggering €400,000 (approximately £350,000), which could be regarded as some kind of ‘peace offering’ following the pairs frosty relationship during Mourinho’s final months at Stamford Bridge.

The Express suggest that senior Chelsea players have been made aware that the club are in talks with Mourinho over a potential return to replace Rafa Benitez in the summer, with the so-called ‘Special One’ not shy of voicing his desire to return to the Premier League.

Mourinho would no doubt be a hugely popular choice if he does end up making the move back to west London at the end of the season, and news of Abramovich’s very generous ‘gift’ has only added fuel to the fire that he’s being lined up to replace Benitez this summer.

What do Chelsea fans make of Roman buying Mourinho a watch? Just sharing the wealth or something more to it?! Get involved in the comments section below.

Well, that’s a good step toward the right direction. The gift will necessitate peace. But A.Roman should be ready to eschew his pride & be more patient for things to work well.

The gift from Abramovich shows love and appreciation of a good work done by Mourinho.

Please if what i have read is true for Mourning’s second coming at Stamford bridge was to sack Chelsea sporting director Mr. Micheal Emenalo, for his own good he should never think of that because it will destroy his coaching career if he does that he will no longer see success until he dies, if he Mourinho try to sack Micheal Emenalo soon Mourinho will become a laughing stock in the whole world.

Please this message should be passed to Mr. Mourinho because as one of Chelsea fans i do not want us to start having pains of non performance of the team because of the mistake he is about to make. But if he want success he should allow the man to do his own job while he Mourinho success will be his second name….Please mark my word today I am not Joking over this issue.

Mourinho should not even dream about it, of sacking Mr. Emenalo,

Hey Mr Ikechukwu, Are You Bringing Tribal Sentiments Or Wat? Emenalo Has Done More Harm To The Club Than Good.He Instigated The Sack Of RDM By Negotiating The Job For Rafa Even Before We Played Juventus. Lets Go Back To Memory Lane. Its The Creation Of The Office Emenalo Is Currently Occupiing By Avaram Grant That Led To The Problem Between MOU & ROMAN. So Emenalo Must Go Or Many Of His Power Reduced For Chelsea To Move Forward.Cikenan

Ikechukwu emanalo has to go ever since that man come to the bridge it’s all been down hill, the sacking of ray Wilkins ancelloti di matteo the most obvious incediants.

These rumours have to stop because if he don’t come back…… I just can’t see who else will take us back to the top

to all my friends, sacking emenalo is not the issue, is by giving mourinho the total control of the team, emenalo does not have problem in sacking RDM

Bringing Mourinho back to stamford bridge is the solution to the problem of the club but can Roman Abramovic give him the chance to operate alone, sacking two coaches in a season can not give special one opportunity to come to stamford bridge, fans love you and I love you much Mourinho pls come back to rebuild the pilar of our destroyed stamford bridge.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has spent alot just for things to go well for chelsea.so who so even that is pulling the club down as a failure should vamute and let the saviour that can make things good for chelsea come and save us, which i know is Jose Morinho.it is not easy,if u are the owner of chelsea and even a Nigerian man can u let any body to pull down ur business just becouse of brother’s favour?
