[Teams] Liverpool vs Chelsea: Confirmed Line-ups

By on April 21, 2013

Liverpool entertain Chelsea on Sunday afternoon with Rafa Benitez making his first return to Anfield since leaving the club in 2010.

The Spaniard spent six years at Liverpool and lead them to Champions League glory to cement himself as a Kop legend but there will be no time for sentiment as he brings his Chelsea side to Anfield desperate for points as they fight to finish in the top four.

Striker Fernando Torres also returns to Merseyside as he’s preferred to Demba Ba up front while there is no place for John Terry or Frank Lampard, who both start on the bench, and Ashley Cole remains out.

Daniel Sturridge drops to the bench for the Reds with Stewart Downing recalled. Jamie Carragher keeps his place with Martin Skrtel among the subs. Here are the confirmed line-ups for the game.
