[Teams] MK Dons vs Manchester United: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on August 26, 2014

Manchester United take on MK Dons this evening in the second round of the Capital One Cup, and we’ve got the teams.

United are in unfamiliar territory having to play at this stage of the competition but a seventh-placed finish and a lack of European football means they were in the hat for the second round for the first time in recent memory.

Louis van Gaal has made wholesale changes for the game with just David De Gea surviving from the team that started at Sunderland on Sunday afternoon. Javier Hernandez partners Danny Welbeck up front while Shinji Kagawa and Anderson also get rare starts in midfield.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

MK Dons

Martin, Baldock, Lewington, Kay, McFadzean, Alli, Potter, Bowditch, Reeves, Carruthers, Grigg

Man Utd

De Gea, M Keane, Evans, Vermijl, James, Powell, Janko, Anderson, Hernandez, Kagawa, Welbeck

Subs: Amos, McNair, Thorpe, A Pereira, Januzaj, Zaha, Wilson

What’s your predicted score for the game now you’ve seen the teams?
