[Video] Schurrle Strikes But Di Maria Grabs Goal + 3 Assists: Argentina 4-2 Germany

By on September 3, 2014

Manchester United fans got a taste of what they can expect from record signing Angel Di Maria as he scored one and set up three others as Argentina beat Germany 4-2 on Wednesday night.

In what was a repeat of this summers World Cup final, Argentina gained some revenge as Di Maria set up Manchester City’s Sergio Ageuro with a stunning pass for 1-0 before laying it on for Tottenham’s Eric Lamela to give the visitors a 2-0 lead at half time.

Di Maria then grabbed his hat-trick of assists just after the break when he set up Fernandez for 3-0 before the United attacker got in on the act with a lovely chipped finish for 4-0 in the 50th minute.

Chelsea attacker Andre Schurrle then pulled one back before Germany’s World Cup final hero Mario Gotze made it 4-2 in the 78th minute.
