[Video Goals] Arsenal 2-1 Leicester: Gunners Back In Top Four After Narrow Win

By on February 10, 2015

Arsenal edged past Leicester City 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium tonight to move back into the top four of the Premier League table.

We opened the scoring in the 27th minute when Mesut Ozil’s corner was met by Laurent Koscielny’s right boot and he swept the ball into the bottom corner for 1-0.

With half time approaching we doubled our lead when Theo Walcott was on hand to fire home after Ozil’s long range shot was parried by Mark Schwarzer.

Leicester pulled one back shortly after the break when Andrej Kramaric fired home from 18 yards with David Ospina being beaten a little too easily at his near post.

The visitors pushed for a late leveller but we held on to secure the three points and move back above Spurs and Man Utd into fourth place in the table.
