[Tweets & Photos] Sturridge, Gerrard & Henderson Celebrate Liverpool Win Online

Liverpool kept up with the top four after a routine 2-0 victory over Burnley at Anfield on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge.

The Reds opened the scoring midway through the first half when Henderson pounced on a loose ball to thrash home a fine strike from the edge of the area before he set up Sturridge for the second shortly after half-time as the striker headed home his deep cross.

The victory  continues Liverpool’s sensational run of form and sees them move back up to fifth in the Premier League table to keep pace with Arsenal and Man Utd – who both also picked up wins last night.

After the game, several of the players have taken to social media networks to react to the win with Simon Mignolet posting a message on Twitter pointing out they secured another home win and clean sheet.

Henderson and Sturridge uploaded photos and messages to Instagram while skipper Steven Gerrard – who missed the game through injury – claimed it was a comfortable win for his team mates and congratulated the goal-scorers for their efforts.
