[Tweets] Cech Thanks Arsenal Fans As Ozil, Ramsey & More Enjoy Emirates Cup Win

Petr Cech has taken to Twitter to thank the Arsenal fans for a warm welcome after he helped the Gunners win the Emirates Cup with a 1-0 victory over Wolfsburg on Sunday.

Cech started his first game as an Arsenal player at the Emirates yesterday and he was given an excellent reception from the Gunners faithful who cheered his every touch throughout the ninety minutes.

The Czech international kept his first clean sheet as we secured our second pre-season trophy after lifting the Emirates Cup for the first time in five years, and the keeper was quick to thank the supporters on Twitter after the game.

Despite only being at the club a short time, it’s clear to see the quality Cech has and I think he’s going to prove to be an outstanding signing for the club.

Several other Arsenal players have taken to social media sites like Twitter to react to our Emirates Cup victory with Mesut Ozil, Calum Chambers, Jack Wilshere, Emi Martinez, Theo Walcott, Hector Bellerin and Aaron Ramsey all celebrating a positive end to our pre-season.

We’re certainly in excellent form heading into the Community Shield with yesterday’s win our fourth pre-season win in a row so hopefully we can kick-start the new campaign with a win over Chelsea at Wembley this weekend.
