[Video Goals] Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal: Blues Controversially Beat 9-Man Arsenal

Chelsea came out 2-0 victors in a controversial game as Arsenal ended the match with just nine players following the dismissals of Gabriel and Santi Cazorla.

Chelsea came out 2-0 victors in a hugely controversial game at Stamford Bridge as Arsenal ended the match with just nine players following the dismissals of Gabriel and Santi Cazorla.

The major turning point came just before half-time when Diego Costa clashed with Gabriel. Both players were booked but the Brazilian was then sent-off for kicking out as the pair continued their argument towards the center-circle. Replays showed Costa was lucky to have escaped a red card for his initial clash with Laurent Koscielny but Gabriel was stupid to react.

Chelsea made their man advantage count as they opened the scoring shortly after the break with Kurt Zouma heading home a Cesc Fabregas free kick for 1-0.

Any hopes of an Arsenal comeback were dealt a huge blow when Santi Cazorla was then sent off for a second bookable offence before the hosts wrapped up the three points with a late Eden Hazard goal, that took a huge deflection off Calum Chambers into the net.

The win sees Chelsea move up to six points while Arsenal remain in fourth on 10 points.
