Arsenal ended the day top of the Premier League after a hard fought 2-1 victory over Fulham. Samir Nasri was the hero with both goals, and his centre back team mates will be quick to thank the Frenchman after a terrible error from Squillaci and Koscielny nearly cost the Gunners dear today.
Nasri put Arsenal ahead with a wonderful solo effort and the Gunners looked like they were cruising. However, a routine long ball by Fulham caused problems after Squillaci and Koscielny collided going for the same ball leaving a huge hole in the middle of the Arsenal defence which was exploited to the full by Fulham as Kamara was sent clear to equalise. But Nasri popped up with another superb finish to clinch three points and top spot. Watch the goals below…
