Star Agrees Five-Year Deal Worth £10.8m-A-Year Ahead Of Proposed Man Utd Move
Paul Pogba has agreed personal terms over a five-year deal worth £10.8m per season with Manchester United ahead of a potential world record move to Old Trafford
The summer transfer window is now open for business so we’ll bring you all the latest transfer rumours and gossip from around the globe. Today, Paul Pogba agrees terms with Man Utd….
Juventus star Paul Pogba has agreed personal terms over a five-year deal worth £10.8m per season with Manchester United ahead of a potential world record move to Old Trafford, according to Marca via the Daily Star.
Jose Mourinho has already splashed out on three news signings this summer with Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan all joining in recent weeks but Pogba has emerged as the ‘Special One’s’ next big-money target.
The Mirror reported earlier this month that United chiefs were determined to make a real statement of intent in the transfer market and were prepared to break the world record with a bid of at least £100m to land the French international.
Speculation has been on-going over the past week but it looks like the potential deal has taken a huge step closer to completion as the Daily Star are citing reports coming from Marca that claim Pogba has now agreed personal terms with United over a five-year deal worth £10.8m per season.
The newspaper says that Pogba has informed his agent, Mino Raiola, that he wants to leave Juve and United after Real Madrid seemingly dropped out of the race due to the huge figures the Red Devils are prepared to pay.
Raiola has already done plenty of business with United as he also represents Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan but the super-agent is in-line to land a record pay day if Pogba does end up joining United as the Star say he owns 20% of the midfielders rights, meaning that if the deal is worth £100m, then Raiola is due a £20m cut.
We’ll have to wait and see how things develop over the coming days but it would obviously be a sensational signing for United if they were able to land Pogba as he’s developed in to one of the best midfielders in the world since leaving Old Trafford four years ago.
