Man Utd To Wrap-Up £112m Pogba Deal Within 48 Hours [Sky Sports]
Man Utd are expected to finally wrap-up a world record £112m deal to sign Paul Pogba before he’s due to return to pre-season training with Juventus on Sunday
The summer transfer window is in full swing so we’ll bring you all the latest transfer rumours and gossip from around the globe. Today, Man Utd close-in on Paul Pogba…
Manchester United are expected to finally wrap-up a world record £112m deal to sign Paul Pogba before he’s due to return to pre-season training with Juventus on Sunday, according to Sky Sports News journalist Kaveh Solhekol.
Pogba’s proposed move to Old Trafford has dominated the back pages for several months with United understood to have been locked in negotiations with Juve and the midfielders agent, Mino Raiola, for weeks.
Spanish outlet AS reported earlier this week that a deal was on the verge of completion after United agreed to meet the Italian clubs £92m asking price while Raiola is also due to get a £20m commission for his part in the transfer.
The report claims that Pogba has agreed terms with United over a five-year deal worth around £320,000-a-week and the French international is expected to complete the move once he returns from his holiday in the United States.
United and Juve have seen going over the fine-print of the world record deal – which will eclipse the £86m Real Madrid paid for Gareth Bale in 2013 – while Pogba enjoys the final leg of his trip to the US in New York.
However, it looks like the deal should be done within the next 48 hours as Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol has taken to Twitter to claim that Pogba will be a United player by the time he’s due to return to pre-season training with Juventus on Sunday.
He tweeted:
“Paul Pogba due to return to pre-season training at Juventus on Sunday. Should be a Manchester United player by then.”
We’ve heard reports for some time now suggesting that the deal will be completed ‘within x amount of days’ so United fans should take this latest news with a pinch of salt, even if it does come from a reliable source like a Sky Sports News reporter.

However, the fact is that Pogba is due back at Juve this weekend so you’d expect his proposed move to United to be concluded over the coming days as the 23-year-old will want his future resolved as soon as possible.
