Wenger Makes 3 Changes: Predicted Arsenal Line-Up vs Hull City

Arsenal will take on Hull City at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Here is the side Gooner Mac thinks Arsene Wenger will select for the game.

Arsenal will look to build on their victory over Southampton when they take on Hull City at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Here is the side Gooner Mac thinks Arsene Wenger will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech was consigned to the bench for our Champions League draw at PSG but the Czech international is expected to get recalled this weekend with David Ospina dropping out despite his excellent performance at the Parc des Prince.

Defence: After recovering from a shaky start, Shkodran Mustafi put in another solid display on Tuesday night so I’d expect the German international to keep his place alongside Laurent Koscielny this weekend.

Nacho Monreal hasn’t been at his best so far this season so Kieran Gibbs could be knocking on the door but I think the Spaniard will retain his place on Saturday with Hector Bellerin once again occupying the right-back position.

Gabriel is back in full training and could be in the squad but he won’t be fit enough to start while Per Mertesacker remains out with a long-term knee injury.

Midfield: Granit Xhaka was surprisingly left out against PSG but I think we should see the Swiss international recalled for the trip to Hull with Francis Coquelin dropping back to the bench.

Aaron Ramsey is back in training and could be in the squad on Saturday but I don’t think he’ll be ready to start so Santi Cazorla could keep his place in the middle of the park with Mohamed Elneny also named among the subs.

Attack: Olivier Giroud was once again named on the bench on Tuesday night but this is the perfect game for him to make his first start of the season. The Frenchman’s return would see Alexis Sanchez move back to the wing after he lead the line against PSG.

Olivier-Giroud arsenal

Mesut Ozil will keep his place in attack while Alex Iwobi could make the cut as Theo Walcott is a doubt with a minor knee injury that kept him out of the PSG game while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had another poor performance in Paris.

Here is how I think we’ll see Arsenal line-up:
