Alexis Sanchez scored twice while Granit Xhaka netted a screamer as Arsenal beat Hull City 4-1 at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Here are my ratings:
Cech 6/10 | Made a couple of routine saves before giving away a penalty for a foul on Mbokani.
Bellerin 7/10 | Bombed forward whenever given the opportunity and solid at the back.
Mustafi 7/10 | Was caught the wrong side of Mbokani in the build up to their penalty but showed his class too with an encouraging performance overall.
Koscielny 7/10 | Another solid display from the Frenchman. Never in any real trouble at the back.
Monreal 6.5/10 | His crossing and final ball could have been better and their goal was created down his side.
Walcott 7.5/10 | Got himself on the scoresheet with a neat finish and was a real threat down the right.
Coquelin 7/10 | Much better performance in the middle of the park. Always involved and never stopped working for the team.
Cazorla 7/10 | Dictated play from deep and everything went through the Spaniard but he was taken off after receiving his final warning from the referee as he was on the verge of a second yellow.
Iwobi 9/10 | Excellent. His goal-bound shot deflected off Sanchez for the opener, set-up Walcott for the second with a superb back-heel and went close to scoring on a couple of occasions.
Ozil 7/10 | Saw a lot of the ball and kept attacks moving with his incisive passing but wasn’t really at his creative best.
Alexis 9/10 | Deflected home the opener and sealed the three points with a fine goal late on. His link-up play was also much better than it was against PSG and he worked his socks off.
Subs:
Xhaka 8/10 | Scored an absolute belting goal as he smashed home from 30 yards in to the top corner.
Elneny 6/10 | Added some energy to the midfield in the last 15.
