Liverpool Ready To Launch £30m Bid For Brazilian Attacker, Player Keen On Move
Lucas Moura has told Paris Saint-Germain he’s open to leaving the club this summer as Liverpool get ready to submit a £30m bid for the attacker
Managers are now pressing ahead with their plans for the summer transfer window so we’ll bring you all the latest news and gossip from around the globe. Today, Lucas Moura is linked with Liverpool….
Lucas Moura has told Paris Saint-Germain he’s open to leaving the club this summer as Liverpool get ready to submit a £30m bid for the attacker, according to a report in the Mirror.
Moura emerged as one of the most exciting young attackers in Brazilian football after coming through the youth ranks at Sao Paulo before joining PSG for £38m in 2012.
The 24-year-old has continued to develop during his time in France and he’s just come off the back of his most productive season to date after scoring 19 goals and providing a further 11 assists in all competitions last season.
However, Moura’s future at the Parc des Princes is in serious doubt as the Mirror are citing a report form the International Business Times that claims he’s informed PSG bosses that he’s open to leaving the club this summer.
This has seemingly alerted Liverpool as the newspaper says Jurgen Klopp has identified Moura as a potential transfer target and is ready to table an opening £30m bid.
It remains to be seen how PSG would respond to such an offer but the attacker – who has 36 caps for the Brazilian national team to his name – still has three years left on his contract so the Ligue 1 giants are under no pressure to sell.
Even if they do decide to cash-in, I expect PSG would demand a fee much higher than £30m and the Mirror claim that Liverpool could face competition from Inter Milan so any potential deal is still a long way off.

Klopp is closing in on a deal to sign Mohamed Salah so I’m not convinced he needs to spend big on another attacker as the Reds boss has other areas of the squad that need strengthened first such as centre-back and central midfield.
