Referees Confirmed For Arsenal v Tottenham, Man Utd v Newcastle & More

The Premier League have announced the match official line-ups for this weekend’s games as we get back to ‘proper football’ following the international break.

The stand-out fixture of the weekend sees Arsenal welcome Tottenham to the Emirates for what should be a hugely exciting North London Derby on Saturday lunchtime.

It’s safe to say Gunners’ fans aren’t impressed by the Premier League’s decision to appoint Mike Dean as the man in the middle as Arsenal have a long-running poor record with Dean as referee and he’s been involved in some controversial incidents over the years.

Arsene Wenger will be praying for better luck this time around as his sixth-placed Arsenal side look to close the gap on third-placed Tottenham – who sit four points ahead of their rivals.

Liverpool take on Southampton on Saturday afternoon and Mike Jones has been handed the game at Anfield as Jurgen Klopp’s side aim to continue their push for the top four.

Fourth-placed Chelsea face a tricky trip to West Bromwich Albion this weekend and Jonathan Moss will oversee proceedings at the Hawthorns while Graham Scott will be in charge of Manchester City’s clash with Leicester at the King Power.

Manchester United entertain Newcastle United in Saturday’s evening kick off and Craig Pawson will be the man in charge at Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho looks to cut City’s eight-point gap at the to of the table.
