Chelsea take on Leicester at the King Power on Sunday afternoon. Here is our preview with the latest team news, line-ups, prediction and betting
Chelsea will be looking to book their place in the semi finals of the FA Cup when they take on Leicester City at the King Power.
The Blues are still smarting from their disappointing Champions League defeat at the hands of Barcelona on Wednesday night which saw them crash out 4-1 on aggregate to the Spanish giants.
Chelsea are also facing a battle to finish in the top four this season so Antonio Conte will want to go all-out to win the FA Cup as speculation continues to circulate regarding his future in west London.
They’ll face a dangerous Leicester side who come in to the game off the back of a 4-1 win over West Brom last weekend so Conte won’t be taking anything for granted.
Team news
Chelsea have no fresh injury problems to contend with but David Luiz remains out with an ankle injury while Ross Barkley is still working his way back to fitness from a hamstring injury.
Conte could freshen things up with Willy Caballero, Gary Cahill, Davide Zappacosta, Pedro, Alvaro Morata and Tiemoue Bakayoko all pushing for recalls.
Leicester will be without Daniel Amartey and Robert Huth due to injury but Kelechi Iheanacho is pushing for a recall along with the likes of Christian Fuchs and Marc Albrighton.
Betting Tips
Chelsea are the 11/10 favourites to win this game with the bookmakers such as scr888 but if you’re going to bet with the online betting companies we think you should be looking for more value. Both teams to score is available at 4/5 while the exact score of a 2-1 Chelsea win is on offer at odds of 7/1 – which is an excellent bet. However, for those wanting even more value then add Eden Hazard as the first goalscorer in a 2-1 Chelsea win for tempting odds of 25/1.
Expected line-ups
Predicted Score
Leicester 1-2 Chelsea: Conte will be looking for a response from his players following their defeat to Barcelona but this isn’t going to be an easy game. Leicester are capable of causing the Blues plenty of problems and I fancy the Foxes to score but Chelsea should have too much quality in the end. I’m backing the visitors to edge it 2-1 to book their place in the last four.
