Man Utd, Tottenham & Chelsea Target Drops Hint Over Possible £79m Summer Move
Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham target Gareth Bale has hinted he could leave Real Madrid this summer to join Bayern Munich
The transfer window may be closed but managers are working hard on their plans for the summer so we’ll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. Today, the latest on Gareth Bale…
Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham target Gareth Bale has hinted he could leave Real Madrid this summer and refused to rule out joining Bayern Munich, according to TeamTalk.
Bale has continued to forge a reputation as one of the best attackers in world football since making a big-money move to Madrid from Tottenham in the summer of 2013.
The Welsh international has scored 81 goals and 59 assists in his 183 appearances to help Madrid win a whole host of top honours including 3 Champions League trophies in the last five years.
However, Bale has been tipped to leave the Bernabeu this summer as widespread reports suggest he’ll be a high profile casualty of Zinedine Zidane’s squad overhaul at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has been hampered by persistent injury problems over the past two seasons and he’s struggled to force his way back in to Zidane’s starting eleven on a permanent basis since returning to fitness in the new year.
It’s led to speculation that Florentino Perez is ready to cash-in on Bale and TeamTalk claim that Man Utd, Chelsea and Tottenham have all been strongly linked with a move for the attacker this summer.
The report says Madrid are demanding around £78.7m for Bale’s signature and and it looks like United, Chelsea and Spurs are ready to battle it out if the Welshman decides to return to the Premier League.
However, the English trio will face stiff competition from abroad with Bayern Munich among those also linked with Bale and the attacker has now hinted he’d be open to the idea of joining the German giants.
Ahead of Madrid’s trip to the Allianz Arena for their Champions League semi-final first leg this evening, Bale is quoted as saying by TeamTalk:
“You can never rule out anything in football. Currently, I play football at Real Madrid and I enjoy that.
“Bayern have a fantastic squad and already in the past they have always been one of the most successful clubs in Europe.
“It’s an honour for everyone to be linked with this club. ‘But as of now I am a Real Madrid player.”

No doubt there will be plenty of interest if Bale is on the market this summer as he’s still a superb football despite his injury problems and I’d love to see him return to the Premier League but we’ll have to wait and see where he decides to go.
