Spurs have been dealt a blow ahead of the game with the news that Lucas Moura has been ruled out of the Chelsea match after picking up a knee injury during the 7-0 victory over Tranmere on Friday night. The Brazilian attacker will be assessed over the coming days but is currently a doubt for the Premier League clash with Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
Eric Dier will also miss tomorrow’s game as he continues to recover from appendicitis while Victor Wanyama remains out with an on-going knee injury. However, there was better news on Erik Lamela as the attacker is back in full training after recovering from illness.
Jan Vertonghen has also been training with the main squad after overcoming a hamstring injury while Mousa Dembele is back from an ankle problem but Mauricio Pochettino says neither player is ready to feature against Chelsea.

The Blues also have injury concerns ahead of the game as Cesc Fabregas is unlikely to be in the squad tomorrow after suffering cramp during the latter stages of the win over Nottingham Forest at the weekend. The Spaniard is tipped to join Monaco this week so it’s unlikely Fabregas will be risked against Spurs.
Maurizio Sarri has confirmed that Pedro, Olivier Giroud and Willian trained with the squad yesterday but will require late fitness tests to see if they’ll be in contention to take on Tottenham at Wembley.
Pedro has been nursing a hamstring injury, Giroud has been out with an ankle problem while Willian picked up a calf injury last week so the trio are doubts for the League Cup semi-final tomorrow.
Chelsea are certain to be without Ruben Loftus-Cheek after he was ruled out with a back injury but there was some positive news as Mateo Kovacic is expected to return to the squad after overcoming illness that kept him out of the Forest game on Saturday afternoon.
Sarri confirms Pedro (hamstring), Willian (calf) and Giroud (ankle) are doing better, but he doesn't know if they will be able to play in Tuesdays Carabao Cup tie vs Tottenham. Loftus-Cheek looks set for a period on the sidelines to help resolve a longstanding back problem. #CFC
