Liverpool will be looking to regain top spot in the Premier League table with victory over Huddersfield Town at Anfield this evening.
Jurgen Klopp is without Roberto Firmino due to a muscle problem so Daniel Sturridge comes in to make a rare start up front. The Englishman is joined by regulars Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in the Liverpool line-up with Divock Origi having to make-do with a place on the bench.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is back in the Liverpool squad for the first time in a year after recovering from a serious knee ligament injury. The midfielder is named on the bench tonight alongside the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri and James Milner.
Trent Alexander-Arnold once again starts at right-back with Andrew Robertson on the left and Dejan Lovren is recalled to start alongside Virgil van Dijk in the middle of the back four. Joe Gomez and Joel Matip are named among the substitutes.
Fabinho is out with a head injury so Jordan Henderson starts in midfield along with Naby Keita while Georginio Wijnaldum keeps his place in the middle of the park after scoring Liverpool’s opening goal against Cardiff last time out.
