Player keen on move after Man Utd table offer, deal could be done at £45m
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is keen on moving to Old Trafford but Man Utd will need to restructure their latest £50m offer if they want to get a deal done
Managers are working hard trying to strengthen their squads during the summer transfer window so we’ll bring you all the latest news and gossip from around the globe. Today, the latest on Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s move to Man Utd…
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is keen on moving to Old Trafford this summer but Manchester United will need to restructure their latest £50m offer if they want to get a deal done with Crystal Palace, according to Sky Sports.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in the market for a new right-back as Antonio Valencia has left the club after running down his contract, Ashley Young turns 34 next month while Matteo Darmian is expected to move back to Italy this summer.
United do have Diogo Dalot on the books but the Portuguese youngster is considered too raw to be a regular starter just yet so Solskjaer needs to bring in some top class competition before the start of the new campaign.
Wan-Bissaka has emerged as the prime candidate in recent weeks and after seeing an opening offer rejected by Crystal Palace, Sky Sports claim Man Utd have gone back in with an improved offer worth £35m up front and a further £15m coming in add ons.
The report says Wan-Bissaka is keen to make a move to Old Trafford this summer but he is yet to submit a transfer request so Palace are under no pressure to sell the 21-year-old on the cheap as he has three years left on his contract.
However, every player has a price and Sky Sports claim Palace would be willing to do business if Man Utd restructured their offer so the Londoners would receive between £45m and £50m up front.
It remains to be seen whether United will be prepared to alter their bid but Wan-Bissaka would be a superb signing if they could pull it off as he’s developed into one of the most exciting young defenders in British football.
The England U21 international established himself as a key player under Roy Hodgson last season and made 39 appearances in all competitions to help Palace finish 12th in the Premier League table.

We’ll have to wait for further developments but this is certainly a transfer story we should keep a close eye on and I think Wan-Bissaka could prove to be an excellent addition to the United squad if they can get a deal agreed.
