Boss Frank Lampard has made a number of changes with Willy Caballero given a rare start in goal as Kepa is rested while Reece James makes his debut after returning from injury as he replaces Cesar Azpilicueta at right-back.
Ross Barkley is given a recall in midfield with the England international joined by Billy Gilmour in the starting eleven. Jorginho is on the bench but N’Golo Kante is given the night off after picking up a knock at the weekend.
Callum Hudson-Odoi makes his return from injury as he starts in attack while Michy Batshuayi comes in up front with Tammy Abraham given a breather as he drops to the bench. Mason Mount drops to the bench and Willian is rested with Christian Pulisic and Pedro coming into the attack.
Marcos Alonso replaces Emerson at left-back while youngster Marc Guehi makes his debut alongside Kurt Zouma with Andreas Christensen given the night off. Fikayo Tomori is named on the bench along with Faustino Anjorin.
