Chelsea will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they take on Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
As expected, Frank Lampard has made several changes to the side that beat Grimsby in the Carabao Cup in midweek with Kepa returning in goal while Cesar Azpilicueta comes in for Reece James at right-back despite the youngster impressing on Wednesday night.
Andreas Christensen is fit to return in the middle of the back four and he’s joined by Fikayo Tomori as Kurt Zouma and Marc Guehi make way. Marcos Alonso keeps his place at left-back with Emerson not names in the squad.
Jorginho is recalled in midfield but N’Golo Kante is ruled out with a knock. Ross Barkley gets the nod in the middle of the park with Mateo Kovacic having to make-do with a place among the substitutes.
Willian and Pedro join Mason Mount in the Chelsea attack while Tammy Abraham is recalled up front after being rested in midweek. Michy Batshuayi drops to the bench despite scoring twice in the League Cup.
Callum Hudson-Odoi is back on the bench after making a goal-scoring return on Wednesday night while summer signing Christian Pulisic has to settle for a place among the subs.
