Frank Lampard has made a couple of changes from the side that beat Lille in the Europa League on Thursday night with Callum Hudson-Odoi coming in to make his first Premier League start of the season after recovering from a serious injury.
Hudson-Odoi joins Willian and Mason Mount in the Chelsea attack with Tammy Abraham keeping his place up front after he got on the score-sheet in France. Michy Batshuayi is named on the bench but there is no place for Olivier Giroud in the matchday squad.
Kurt Zouma is preferred to Andreas Christensen in the back four with Fikayo Tomori keeping his place while Reece James drops to the bench as Lampard switches formation to a back four having played with wing-backs against Lille.
Cesar Azpilicueta starts at right-back with Marcos Alonso on the left while N’Golo Kante is passed fit to keep his place in midfield alongside Jorginho. Mateo Kovacic has to settle for a place on the bench alongside Christian Pulisic and Ross Barkley.
